Los Angeles Chapter Ikenobo Membership
2024 Information
Students enrolled in classes with LA Chapter Ikenobo Instructors join as members of the Ikenobo School of Ikebana. All members and their diploma levels are registered with Ikenobo Headquarters in Kyoto, Japan.
Cost:
- REGULAR - $50/year
- SPECIAL - $120/year– must be level 6 or above
Cycle:
- Fees due by the end of March of each year
Ikenobo Headquarters Benefits:
All members:
- Receive ‘Hana no Ala Carte’ print magazine once a year (usually in December)
- Receive ‘Hana no Komichi’ electronic newsletter (available in Japanese, English, and Chinese) periodically
- Receive access to library of youtube videos on various Ikenobo topics
- Opportunity to earn certificates which allows students to learn advanced topics in Ikenobo (cost of certificates varies dependent on level)
- Allowed to take classes at Ikenobo headquarter in Japan
Special members:
- Allowed to attend fee based Special Member workshops on advanced topics that are held periodically in the US (site varies)
- Receive an Ikenobo calendar every year
Los Angeles Chapter Benefits:
All members are invited to attend or participate in Chapter events.
- Annual Chapter Luncheon and Workshops with Visiting Professors (March);
- Annual Chapter Exhibition and workshops.
- Special events planned for major anniversaries of the founding of the Chapter.
